Introduction

We're thrilled to introduce you to Avada SEO Suite, a fantastic tool that uses Google's standard structure data for your Shopify store. This handy app will automatically add json-ld tags to your web pages, helping Google understand your content better. This includes:

  • Key page structured data: This covers your Product page, Collection page & Blog pages (articles)
  • Local business: This helps Google know more about your business.
  • Review structured data: This showcases your customer reviews in a structured format.
  • Other structured data: Breadcrumb, Sitelinks search box and Frequently asked questions.

Let's Add Google Structured Data to Your Website

1. Homepage

Provide your store details and social media profiles to make them visible on Google Knowledge Panel

  • Click “Turn on” to activate structured data for your homepage

  • Click the icon to preview how your site looks on the search result page.

  • Click “Configure” if you want to edit your information

Store name : Store name you want to be displayed on search results

Description: Short description for your store

Store URL: Store website link

Logo URL: Link directs to your store logo

Social network profile: Select what social media you want to be displayed on search results and fill in the social media link accordingly

You can check how your store looks on the results page with our preview.

Remember to click Turn on and Save all your settings.

2. Rating & reviews

  • Click “Turn on” so that we can help you show all your ratings & reviews on the results page.

  • Then you can select a review app to show your reviews by clicking “More options”. We support these review apps: Air reviews, Judge.me, Growave, Ali Reviews and Loox.

  • Click “Preview” to see how it looks on the results page.

3. Product & collection

  • Click “Turn on” to activate structured data for your product & collection page.

  • Click “Configure” to change your page information

  • Show product stock status: Show your product stock on search results page

  • Price valid until: valid date for your product pricing

  • Show shipping details: Shows shipping information on the result page: Country, Price, Currency, Handing time min, Handing time max, Handing time unit, Transit time min, Transit time max and Transit time unit.

  • Show return policy: Show return policy on search results page: Country, Specifies an applicable return policy, Return day, Return method and Return fees.

  • Click “Preview” to see how it looks on the results page.

4. Breadcrumb

Breadcrumbs in search results helps users understand & get an overview of where they are or which page they are on your site.

  • Click “Turn on” to activate structured breadcrumb

5. Local business

Show more information about your store such as address, store location, opening hours,... on the search results page.

  • Click “Turn on” to activate your business information

  • Click “Configure” to change information for Local business.

You can change your information of:

  • Store name: Your store name
  • Address: Your store address
  • GeoLocation: Your store location on Google map
  • Phone number: Your store phone number
  • Business type: What you’re selling to your customers
  • Opening hours: When you open your store during weekdays and weekends

While setting up your information, you can take a look at our preview to see how your store information looks like on the search result page.

Click “Save” to save all your settings.

This helps users search your site or app immediately on the search results page.

  • Click “Turn on” to activate structured data for sitelinks search box

7. Frequently asked questions

A Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) page contains a list of questions and answers pertaining to a particular topic. This helps your FAQ pages be eligible to have a rich result on the search results page.

  • Click “Add FAQs” to start editing your FAQs

  • Then you’re directed to On page SEO audit. Select a page you want to show your questions on in this list: Product page, Collection page, Blogs and other pages.

You can click on the Page title or Click Action → Edit to select a page.

  • In page setting, click “Turn on” to help your FAQs eligible for Google Structure data.

  • Next, if you want to show your Question list on your page, click the checkbox “Show FAQs block”.

If you don’t want to show your Question list on your page, your questions are still eligible to show on Google search results.

  • Click “Go to theme editor” to get access to your editor and add a FAQ block to your page.

  • In your theme editor, click “Add block” to put FAQs block in your preferred position of the page, then click “Save”.

  • You can Add, Edit and Delete all your Question - Answer or reset all to default. You can add maximum of 10 questions in this list.

This is how the FAQs list shows in your store.

8. Other pages

This helps show all your other pages on the search results page.

Click “Turn on” to activate your structured data for other pages.

9. Blog post & Article

This helps show your blog posts & articles on the search result page.

Click “Turn on” to activate structured data for your blogs and articles.

Click “View Google snippet” to check if your site is eligible for Google structured data to show rich results on the result page.F
